Pug and Pin Night Thursday 20th August

Have you ever wanted to learn how to preserve butterflies and moths? Or just looking for something different and interesting to do? With our workshop, you will learn the fundamentals of the art of pinning, meet other local creatives and most importantly, have a great time!

We will be hosted in the lovely Fat pug, in a private room upstairs, so you can grab a drink, learn something new and have a go at a unique skill that may just become your new obsession!

Our butterflies are ALWAYS ethically sourced from conservation projects and butterfly farms; they have lived their full natural lives and are only sold for entomological purposes once they have passed naturally.

What's included:

• Short talk on butterfly biology

• Learn how to rehydrate and pin

• Preserve 2 butterflies

• Decorate your own frame

       (with 1 pre-pinned butterfly)
